    hireahelper site question

    1. I ran across a site that says it is a database of customers and helpers at  www.hireahelper.com and after looking at the agreement am a little leeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrry about providing my bank account #. Does anyone know of this place?  I see they stress cheap, but I figure it would get me a few more references to get started. If there are any other sources I can apply to to get more jobs I sure would appreciate your expertise of knowledge.

     Jill,

I've never heard of it and wonder about their need for bank account info.  I would not trust that setup.

Go to local churches, community centers, etc. and hand out your card to the members there.  Explain that you are looking for new clients and would love to give them an "intro" special or something to introduce your services.

My take is this...advertising costs money.  You shouldn't have to pay to get leads other than your actual advertising costs.  ;)

Can you give an example?  I am curious to see how others do it.

In my case with residential, other than advertising costs I didn't have any "lead" costs.
