    Just make sure that your craigslist isn't just a one or two sentence thing put your phone number and your email right in the ad so then they are more likely to call you.  But if you do have to email them back just give them a list of things you will want to know just as if you were talking to them on the phone.  You can make up a questionaire and paste it on your emails so you don't have to remember what to ask and then have to type everything on each email. And make sure you leave your phone number in the email so they can call you.  Hope this helps

    I've heard that you risk getting tons of spam by placing your email address within your craigslist ad. I've seen some nice ads on craigslist with logos and text in company colors, etc. A picture says a thousand words so you might want to add a logo or photo. Make it look professional and stand out from the crowd.

    I, myself, have had a great experience using Craigslist.  All you need to do is sit downa nd write you up an ad to sell yourself.  Then place it on Craigslist, make sure you have all your contact info in the ad and what sets you apart from all the other cleaners.  I advertise my cleaning packages on my ad.  Craigslist is a great free advertising tool if you utilize it well.  I wish you luck and look forward to hearing how you booked 10 more customers from Craigslist.

     Hi Kim,

    Could you give us a sample of your ad? I have had no luck here in AZ but I think thats because there are 100's of unlicensed cleaners posted on Craigslist here. I cant compete with their prices. Do you have lots of competition on Craigslist in TN? I have however found barter and networking opportunities on Craigslist...:)

    Re: craigslist ?

    I copy the source code (html) for my entire start page on my website so it has all of the active links as if they
    went there without clicking a link (some people are afraid to)

    That way the person uses my real email instead of using Craiglists and they can visit my entire site instead of
    just typing a bunch of stuff...

    Here's a link to the Craigslist ad today-->   http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/mld/hss/909487269.html

     Hi manmaid,

     Good info-I'm going to try this on Craigslist here and see if it helps. Maybe that will help distinguish me from the competition:)

    Thanks!

    That is awsome!  I didn't realize I could do that on craigslist!  I just put everything on my website on a plain text format on the craigslist ad.  Everyone who has called me from Craigslist has always said I stand out from the other ads but WOW I will really stand out from the rest now!

    THANKS MANMAID!!!  YOU ROCK!!!
