Well, I'm feeling a bit down because I am having to WORK today. Waa! Is there anyone else besides me suffering? Is there anyone else besides me out there who has not had a vacation in the last THREE YEARS!!! Waa!!! It's beautiful outside, but I am stuck here working on payroll. I hired a new employee last week who was supposed to stop by this morning at 9:30 am to complete her new hire paperwork. NO SHOW. Yes, we discussed the fact that today was Memorial Day, and she assured me it was no problem to spend an hour ths morning getting the paperwork out of the way. Um, she's fired before she has even been officially hired. I need a drink, bad. Then I got into a heated conversation with an Obama fan early this morning. He's my friend but still it was all I could do to remain calm. Let's see. It's 11:04 am if my clock is right... the employees keep changing it... I have to check it several times each week to make sure it's showing the correct time. They like to set it back by 15 minutes to avoid getting any points for being late. Dingbats!
