    price per sq ft stripping

    Hi guys can anyone give me a ballpark figure for a price per square foor for stripping and waxing. Ive seen anywhere from 8 to 50 cents thanks kevin

    "Ballparks" are dangerous! For example - if you have one building with 100 square feet of VCT and another with 1,000 sq ft.....are you going to price the same? Not if you plan to be profitable!

    Why ? Because the labor you have in 100 sq ft won't be very different from 1,000 sq ft or more...why? Because of down time. You have to wait for drying after stripping, drying between coats, etc....sure the chemicals will be lower on the smaller floor - but the labor not much less.

    So we always price based on the current amount of tile for a building. We also have minimums to cover our labor downtime so we don't lose money.....

    Once we get above 5,000 square feet, our price starts dropping....sorry I can't give you example numbers here.....competition !
