    Condo Commons Area Bid

    Hi everyone,

I need to provide a bid for a condo association.

    Here are the specs:

There are seven condo units - four of them have just four units and 3 of them have 12 units. In the 12 unit condos there are 2 entryways and they would want the small tile area mopped, front door glass cleaned and side windows touched up, all carpet on the stairs and entry areas vacuumed up three flights of stairs, cobwebs cleaned, lightbulbs changed when needed. The 4 unit condos have just one entry each.

It would be just me doing the work and they want this done once a week. I would have to use my own vacuum and because it is such a small tile area, would prob just use a swiffer mostly.

Please give me an idea on what to charge per month for this job.

    Thank you,

    Kristie

I'm not to sure because i can not see them so I do not know the complete size
but it sounds like 325 to 400 per month.
I can not see anymore than 3 hours.
get a backpack, swiffer, duster, microfiber rag and a bottle of glass cleaner
    and your good to go.
best day to do condo's is monday morning. its cleaned up from the weekend
and when the property manager comes in on monday it looks good.

Thank you for your input - I was thinking of charging $80 per week and $320 per month so you are about right on of what I was thinking. I will probably use a handheld vacuum for the stairs and since there is such a small tile area by the door, I was going to use a swifferjet for that.

    Thanks,
    Kristie

    your welcome

those small handheld vacuums are not to good.
you would be better off sweeping the stairs
    if you going that route.
I would get a backpack, it cuts the work in half
in condo complexs and does a nice job.
    there worht the investment.
    I'll check ebay for ya.

but it does not come with a hose and attachments.
go to your local vacuum cleaner dealer and give hime the
    specs of this vacuum
    thero-matic
    model vb4
    8 amps
    year c96
hose 2" and it is a simple push in
and ask if they can get the hose and attachments for it.
if they can, bid on this first if you win then purchase the part and your golden

I have an account very similar and I charge them $225/mo. But, I'm there twice a month not once a week. Takes me appx 3 hours per visit and they are happy to have me do it. Extra service(s) are extra $$$.
    Good luck.

Well thanks for checking for me for those backpack vacuums but sorry that's not in my budget right now so I'll just have to use what I have for now.

    thanks,

Rob....I am thinking the price for those vacs (149.50) must be incorrect. I am going to find out though.

it says it on there little catalog they sent out.
Vac News Vol J71 January - February issue.

says it on the front cover.
    Only 149.50 was 249.00
BUT it says see page 15
but on page 15 theres burnishers
    says nothing about the backpack.
could be a misprint, but if it says it
    they must give it..
