    Welcome visitors/lurkers

I would like to take this time to welcome all the people who visit the board everyday, but never say hello. There is over 1000 people visiting the board everyday, but only a handful that post. Not sure exactly why that is for each individual, but I know people have a lot of different reasons.

Yes, there is a lot of "chatter" on this board, but that is what makes this board unique to all the others out there. Some like it this way and others like business only.

All people who come to this board should feel comfortable and welcome here. There are a lot of friendships, so inside jokes and such are common, but believe me it doesn't take long to fit right in.

I will leave this post up for a while, to let some of the visitors/lurkers to say hey. If you would just introduce yourself, how long in the field, how your job/company relates to cleaning(meaning are you a facilities manager, owner, employee), and anything else you want to share.

    Thanks,
    Tim

I am one of the lurkers.I try to change it but it is hard because English is my second language and I feel like I hurt your eyes when you guys read my posts[:I]I feel more like in learning position not advising one.Lack of time is another reason but this is everybody's problem I guess so it is not an excuse right?

Hi everyone. My name is Christine and I am just starting out in the cleaning business. I have posted maybe six times and my reason for this is that I feel it is best to just listen (or in this case read) and learn. I do not feel I am seasoned enough to offer advice in the cleaning business. Hopefully I will be able to participate very soon.

One thing that has impressed me about this forum is the camaraderie. It is refreshing to read so many positive and uplifting posts; Especially posts that encourage a newbie such as myself. [:o)]

    Re: Welcome visitors/lurkers

    Hi all,

My name is Francesca and own "Chambers Cleaning Services", & also DBA "Chambermaids", In "Westchester County and NYC metro areas", I am guilty of Lurking as I have been a member of NAPC for almost a year, but have only posted a message once. My business started summer of last year and has gradually been growing considering the fact that I run it on a part time basis, hoping to acquire enough accounts to enable me run it full time. We specialize mostly in residential and have a few commercial. This board has been a tremedous help and the people involved have been great motivators for me in this industry. I appreciate all that I have learnt and still learning and will want to get to a point of contributing back in effort to help and encourage others. I hate to receive and not give back, hence going forward, I will make time to at least give my two cents worth on certain issues from time to time.

    Many thanks to all!

Thanks for your remark MaryLynn! I welcome all comments, critics & concerns as per my websites. I am not totally satisfied with it considering I built it myself, but I think it works for now.

Welcome Francesca! You ought to see my website. I designed it myself, but if anyone asks I should tell them 4 year old daughter did it. I haven't messed with my site, since I just put a few things on it the first day I started it. It is pretty bad! LOL

Once again, Welcome to the board or bored!(whichever you consider us to be) LOL
