    Where to Find Help?

    We have a fairly large post construction cleaning company (biggest in our state), Doing about 3000 new homes per year and can't find good candidates to work. We provide vehicles, supplies etc. Ads in the newspaper just don't seem to bring in any decent candidates and our only requirements are that they have a clean driving record and can pass a drug screening.
    Just wondering where you guys find employees?

    Re: Where to Find Help?

    My boyfriends dad owns a carpet cleaning buss. He said he gets most of all his employees from his church. I m pretty sure he has the highest prices in his town and doing great.
    What about checking the local motels. Motel maids have to do a thorough job and usually dont get paid much over min. wage. (Just a thought}
    Word of mouth seems to work in all directions for me.

    Amy,I live in Lexington,NC. About 20 min. from Salisbury(Just across High Rock Lake). Lexington has lost hundreds of jobs due to textile plants (furniture) shutting down in the last few years. You might want to advertise in the local paper,The Dispatch. The ad dept. is 336-249-1637. After a day like today I might just apply myself. Hope this helps. Monica
