    Invitation to Bid Lists

Are you on contractor’s faxed Bid Lists to bid on future commercial post construction projects?

If you are able to do commercial work this is one sure way of growing your business. Contractors send out Invitations to bid on projects that have not broken ground yet or that have not been awarded to a GC. These are pre-construction bids.

If you receive an Invitation to Bid from a GC and their bid is chosen from all of the other general contractors, it’s a sure bet that you will get the contract if the GC used your bid numbers in their final bid.

To do this send a note to all of the commercial builders you chose to work with, asking them to put you on their Invitation to Bid list. Some builders will only put you on their list if you have done work for them and are their chosen sub-contractor.

What prompted this thread; I received a bunch of Invitations to Bid and also finial cleaning contracts today from past invitation to bids I previously submitted .

    Good Luck
